Artists, scientists and designers are at the forefront of exploring new forms of visualizing
information and data-based storytelling. Sven Ehmann, creative director of the design book publisher Gestalten and editor of their book Data Flow: Visualising Information in Graphic Design, gives an overview on recent developments, approaches and attitudes visual artists are embracing as well as the diverse range of applications by way of examples from cultural projects to business practices and beyond.

Today FUN FACTORY are Europe’s biggest manufacturers of stylish erotic silicone toys and trendsetters in the erotic toys market. The objects designed by FUN FACTORY prove that good design is characterized by a combination of perfectly, aesthetically shaped form and convincing functionality. Their products have been awarded the red dot design award in 2007 (product design winner) and their quality has recently been approved by Öko-Test (rated “Very good”!).
FUN FACTORY will tell us about their amazing success story and about the fun of creating good design.

CMYK Party
Saturday 03/10, 9 PM. til late, Exit 07/Carrérotondes
To start autumn joyfully we’ll have a party at Exit07, on Saturday October 3rd.
The evening is focused on CMYK – which refers to the four inks used in colour printing: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black.
Warm up music by DJ Donut and Hervé B (pronounce French and you get the joke…) followed by flashy electro band Christal&Crack (http://www.myspace.com/christalandcrack) and J+E.
Visual support is provided by Steve Gerges. A flashy and colourful atmosphere is thus guaranteed!
