Sarah-Grace Mankarious is Art Director of Special Projects at CNN International, where she produces interactive online stories and award-winning videos such as Colorscope: a series about color and it’s cultural connotations, and ‘What is beauty?’ which looks at our perceptions of female beauty throughout time.

A born and bred Londoner with Egyptian and Mexican parents, she has lived in Mexico City, NYC and a small town in Japan. Cultural experiences like these inform her work, as well as her unconventional path to design, by way of a degree in Philosophy and Psychology which gave her permission and the tools to constantly question.

Through stories about shared experiences in diverse cultures, and intriguing facts about our world, Sarah-Grace Mankarious encourages people to look at the world a little differently. Whether it’s through an animated video telling a linear story or an interactive online feature where the audience can choose how to consume the story at their own pace.
